**Summary**:
This is a dynamic and diverse role, reporting into the Logistics Team Lead and based onsite at Waterbeach, Cambridge.

Daily duties include:

- Handling a variety of product types, storing and retrieving samples from temperature regulated locations ranging from 4°C to -196°C.
- Support shipping activities, determining the most appropriate shipment method through detailed knowledge of Horizon’s procedures and determining the most appropriate shipment method through detailed knowledge of Horizon’s procedures
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure all internal specifications and regulatory requirements are met.
- Preparation of air waybills and associated shipment documentation.
- Post-shipment dispatch work, including updating and maintaining shipment records to regulatory and HD requirements plus communicating results and issues.
- Accurately following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensuring completion of duties with mínimal errors to support department metrics.
- Contributing to operational excellence and assisting in the further development of a Lean approach to process flows.
- Receiving shipments and materials into the building.
