A longstanding business in Lydney is seeking a talented customer sales coordinator to join their friendly team.

**Overview**

Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. Generate new customers through direct marketing activity.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop good working relationships with customers supporting their needs.
- Generate quotations the using tools provided and follow up on those quotations, converting quotes into orders.
- Proactively support sales by making calls to prospective customers and accounts (Old lapsed accounts or new).
- Assist in developing marketing ideas or ideas for promotional activity.
- Generate new opportunities / potential customers through cold calling and social media interaction.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints with the support of the production team and quality
- Liaise with relevant departments in determining ways to meet or exceed customer delivery or quality expectations.
- Maintain customers' accounts and records on ERP System recording customer interactions, transaction, inquiries, comments and complaints.
- Prepare and distribute customer activity reports when required.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
- Continually look to improve the role and function of supporting customers.
- Always represent the business in a positive manner.
- Attend and support business trade exhibition activities when required

**Other Responsibilities**
- Support and provide cover for other business administrative activities where necessary including; but not limited to Despatch and Purchasing.

**Hours**

Monday to Thursday 9:00am - 5pm and Friday 9:00am to 4 pm (39 hours per week)
- Proficiency in using MS Office - Word and Excel. Ability to create spreadsheets to interrogate data and produce graphical information.
- A strong understanding of ERP systems
- Ability to work under pressure to meet shipping deadlines
- Ability to work in an enthusiastic and committed team in a fast-paced operations environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with colleagues and suppliers to developing key relationships.
- Ability to work independently, to use initiative and maintain attention to detail.
