The Plymouth Cancer Champions Project is a 3-year project, funded by Macmillan Cancer
Support. The project is hosted by Zebra Collective in close collaboration with Age UK
Plymouth and the Wolseley Trust Social Prescribing team.

The project will explore community-based approaches to supporting people whose cancer outcomes and experiences are known to be the worst because of the unacceptable barriers they face (such as those living in low-income areas, minoritized communities etc).

We are seeking to recruit 2 x Community Engagement Leads - one post will predominantly work with older people, employed by Age UK Plymouth, and the other will work in low
- income communities, initially focusing on Devonport and Stonehouse, employed by Zebra
Collective. For both positions you will need to have an asset-based approach, be comfortable engaging with people, and have strong partnership working skills.

Both posts are full time and come with a Salary of £32,000.
