Nursing Associate Diabetes Research

A new exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Nursing Associate to join the Leicester Diabetes Centre (LDC) at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. This is a new role within the LDC that works across clinical research studies but linking with clinical services across primary and secondary care.
The LDC is one of the largest facilities in Europe for conducting first class clinical and commercial research in disease management and prevention and hosts the Patients Recruitment Centre (PRC).NIHR Patient Recruitment Centre
We are looking for a highly motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic Nursing Associate to contribute in the delivery of a high quality research service, in accordance with ICH-GCP guidelines for the conduct of clinical research trials. The post holder will at all times act in accordance with the NMC Codes of Conduct and Practice, Scope for Professional Practice and all NMC guidelines.
We are one of the biggest and busiest NHS trusts in the country, incorporating the General, Glenfield and Royal Infirmary hospitals. We have our very own Children’s Hospital and run one of the country’s leading heart centres.

This is a full-time post, based at Leicester General Hospital. Travel may be required between sites within the Trust and to Primary Care locations within Leicestershire to support departmental activities and there will be a requirement for early/late shifts and weekend work.
