In this role you will take the lead in the Finance, Capacity & Demand arm of the Business Management Unit within the Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) Enterprise Platform Services (EPS) Digital Platforms (DP) Team.

The Business Management Unit provides support to staff across various geographical locations in all areas of Digital Platforms - Build, Live Service, Government Gateway, Customer Insight Platform, Multi-channel Digital Tax Platform and Application Testing Service.

**Job description**:
As a Business Management Lead you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Finance Business Partner and Supplier Management teams within Digital Platforms to ensure that we stay within our allocated funding envelope. Your main responsibility will be the management of Digital Platform finances including T4 accounts covering current month, year to date and full year Budget, Actuals and Forecast for all cost centres.

In collaboration with the Supplier Management Team you will be responsible for:

- The end-to-end management of multiple supplier invoices - analysis, and reconciliation to assure accurate monthly re-charge of supplier costs.
- Managing the re-charge process for any SoW which are not specific to a set Project/Programme.
- Managing the burndown of individual contracts against the total contract value, identifying areas where spend is outside of the forecast to aid planning of contract re-procurement and any transition.
- Managing the set up and monitoring of Purchase Orders for supplier Statements of Work (SoW).

In addition you will line manage the teams who are responsible for:

- Managing the CDIO Central Entry Process (CEP) also known as the Front Door, tracking Change and Project demand through the CEP approval process for Digital Platforms.
- Managing Digital Platforms Capacity and Demand ensuring correct staffing levels to meet requirements for all project and programme deliveries.
- Managing Clarity Resource and Allocation Management and monitoring timesheet compliance to support CDIO KPI and ensuring accurate Project allocations for all HMRC staff.
- Managing HMRC re-charge data ensuring accurate Project allocation re-charge information is assigned to HMRC Digital Platforms staff in Clarity.
- Managing the E2E Small Change (Live/Robotics/gForms etc) on behalf of Digital Platforms.
- Managing the Application Testing Service Front Desk working with the supplier and Programmes & Projects in line with Service Level Agreements.

This is a complex and fast-paced environment working to strict timelines, managing multiple stakeholders and third-party suppliers on a daily basis.
