**About the role**

This assignment relates to the Chevron ERP Programme, which aims to consolidate operational ERP solutions for a range of acquired businesses to a single target solution.

The Business Project Manager has overall responsibility for the successful mobilisation and delivery of a project and is accountable to the project sponsor for the successful realisation of business benefits.

The Project Manager will work closely with sponsors, business teams, IT, and workstream leads. You will build a project plan and be responsible for day-to-day coordination of the matrix project team and tracking delivery of all project actions, whilst identifyingand managing potential risks and challenges.

**Overview of Responsibilities**
- Define project scope with sponsor including outcomes and benefits. Ensure this scope is communicated to and understood by all relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively coordinate stakeholders to build project plan and identify resources required. Identify costs and ensure relevant approvals are obtained. Ensure stakeholders understand the delivery plan and accept it.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of the project on-time, within scope and within budget
- Use appropriate project processes to manage project delivery including tracking and reporting of scope, schedule, resourcing, costs, risks and issues.
- Communicate this delivery by creating and managing appropriate project governance in a timely and effective manner, including escalation as needed
- Create and maintain appropriate project documentation that supports project delivery and maintains transparency.
- Manage the relationship with the sponsor and all stakeholders using appropriate communications and engagement methods.
- Develop risk management processes and perform risk management to anticipate and manage project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships to manage third parties/vendors
- Coordinate appropriate change management plans with business, HR and internal communications teams including required communications plans, training plans and business engagement processes.
- Manage project transition into business as usual including handover plans, lessons learned and benefits realisation

**What good looks like**:

- Proven experience in directly and solely managing complex business change projects across multi-entity and multi-functional teams from inception to closure.
- Proven experience of creating and carrying out project management processes e.g. scope, schedule, resource, budget, risk, communications management, including high quality document production and management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that distil project scope and delivery into clear communications materials, appropriate targeted and different audience groups.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and inter-personal skills, with the confidence to challenge supportively and effectively where appropriate at all levels in the organisation
- Experience in development and coordination of change management including assessing impact of change on end users and developing appropriate communications, training and business engagement solutions.
- Experience with ERP Systems and Implementation

- Post M&A Integration experience inc. entity restructure, TUPE transfers, etc
- Traffic Management Company experience
