**Job Title**: Youth Worker
**Location**: Wigan
**Salary**: £100 per day and up depending on experience

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Provide crucial academic and emotional support to a diverse group of pupils.
- Conduct specialized intervention sessions for small groups, addressing unique learning needs.
- Deliver individualized 1:1 support to students needing additional assistance.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to formulate and implement student growth strategies.
- Manage and mitigate challenging behaviors while fostering an inclusive learning environment.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in educational support roles.
- Familiarity with SEMH needs and related conditions like autism and ADHD.
- Ability to motivate and engage pupils through personalized strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong resilience and adaptability in handling challenging behaviors.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
