Key responsibilities:

- Maintain a purposeful, orderly, and supportive classroom environment.
- Use given strategies to support pupils to achieve their learning goals.
- Working with the teacher and other educational professionals to monitor and review student progress.
- Communicating effectively with the student, teacher, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring that the school's policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Adhere to school policies and procedures relating to safeguarding.
- Use positive behaviour management strategies in line with the school's policy and procedures to contribute to a purposeful learning environment.
- Encourage pupils to interact and work cooperatively with others.
- Upholding the school's values and ethos.
- Attending faculty meetings.

Essential requirements:

- Relevant qualifications (CACHE Level 2, NVQ Level 2, etc.).
- Classroom experience.
- A minimum of two professional and verifiable references covering six months out of two years.

Desired requirements:

- SEN experience.
