Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is seeking a skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students to develop and use strategies to access learning and achieve the best outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead behaviour approaches and pastoral care on a day-to-day basis
  • Support staff with training needs, including whole staff sessions and individual class group sessions
  • Work closely with the Deputy Head Teacher for Behaviour and Safeguarding to lead on behaviour across the school
  • Monitor the health and well-being of pupils and pass on information to relevant colleagues and other professionals
  • Monitor behaviour reports and identify trends, supporting staff to implement strategies and interventions
Requirements:
  • Level 3 TA or higher qualification
  • Full UK driving license
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection training
  • Experience of Pastoral and Positive Behaviour approaches
  • Experience of managing a range of approaches to behaviour, including managing behaviours that challenge
