**Job description**
At Sharob Care our caring, compassionate colleagues work tirelessly to provide the highest level of care to our residents across three homes in Cornwall. We have facilities in Bude, Bodmin, Liskeard and St Austell, employing over 160 people. We currently have an opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated team.
We have opportunities for dedicated and caring individuals to join our team at Caprera Care Home in St Austell, providing the highest level of care to our residents. Previous experience in a health care role is desirable, but not essential, as training and development towards a nationally recognised qualification can be provided for anyone looking to develop a career in health and social care.
**Key Duties**:
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a range of duties to support our residents’ with their daily living needs from personal care, mealtimes and stimulating activities. You will work as part of our team in providing the highest standards of care under the supervision and guidance of a team leader.
**Required Skills, Experience and qualifications**:
- Excellent Communication skills
- Compassionate and caring interpersonal skills
- NVQ level 1 - 3 in Health and social care or equivalent (Desirable)
- Care Certificate (Desirable)
- Medication Administration (Desirable)
- Digital Patient record systems (Desirable)
