Agency Media Sales Director

We operate B2B brands across digital magazines, websites, events and social channels and have experienced significant growth in recent years, both in terms of audience & client growth. And, we're now looking for a proven B2B sales professional to drive growth from UK agencies and their clients.
This is a senior, front line sales role based at our offices in Moorgate, London dealing with marketing and advertising agencies as well as some PR agencies.
You’ll be managing existing relationships with agencies but you will be expected to show growth from these whilst developing new agency relationships and business. You'll ideally have an understanding of how UK agencies work and will have had experience talking and presenting to account directors and media buyers/planners.
You’ll also have proven experience identifying and developing new business relationships with target clients at the most senior level, you’ll be well versed using Linked in to help with this and be a confident presenter on screen and face to face. We drive strong incoming enquiry levels through our websites and lead generation campaigns so you’re not entirely on your own developing new business.

BizClik employs over circa 120 people across its offices in Norwich (HQ), London and Dubai.
**Building the UK Agencies Book of Business**:
- Manage existing key agency relationships and identify areas and clients for growth within these through stronger fact finding and relationship building.
- Approach and engage with UK based agencies that do not currently trade with us to understand their B2B client opportunities and to present our solutions and services to these.
- Manage the incoming agencies leads and enquiry pipeline from proposal to close.
- Understand and be able to present confidently the strategy for each of our key platforms.
- Work closely with the management team to deliver on daily tasks, weekly goals and monthly budgets. Circa $50k-$85k per month
- Become an influencer within the team, within BizClik and especially within the agencies sector.
- Represent BizClik Media Group as a leader, including occasional travel globally to key industry events.
**Core Skills**:
- Professional, goal orientated, sales focussed.
- Demonstrable experience at building strong, long term business relationships in a B2B environment. Media/Agency/Events/Sponsorship sales experience would be a bonus.
- Strong communicator with good 1-2-1 presentation skills.
- Efficient with LinkedIn and socials. Previous use of LinkedIn sales Navigator would help.
- Previous use of modern CRM systems and associated skills. (we use Salesforce)
- Self Belief, determination and a willingness to develop and grow your business sectors becoming an ambassador for your brands in these markets.
- Knowledge or experience of how marketing/ad/PR agencies work and how to influence these.
**Pay & Package**:
- £35-£45k basic salary based on experience with an industry leading, open ended commission structure.
- Commission - open ended - we pay 10% commission on all sales and would expect this person to realistically earn circa £50k-£80k p/a in commission.
- 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and a Christmas break of 5-7 days.
- Regular staff social events.

- Lovely open offices in Moorgate.
