We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our client’s team and provide exceptional service to customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately diagnose vehicle issues
- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance services
- Create detailed repair orders and communicate with technicians
- Schedule appointments and manage the service department's workflow
- Ensure timely completion of repairs and communicate updates to customers
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle service history

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for scheduling and record keeping
- Cash handling experience is a plus

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wantage: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- service advisor: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
