Excel Care Group Ltd are recruiting a Care Co-ordinator to work in our Greater Manchester branch (based in Audenshaw), providing care and support to those living in their own homes and communities and developing our workforce to deliver excellent standards of care.

Role of a Care Co-ordinator

Duties include (but are not limited to) development of rosters, allocating adequately trained and experienced carers to customers, ensuring carers are matched to customers based on customer’s needs, wishes and preferences.

Development of junior members of staff, supporting the management team with supervision and observation, recognising, raising and escalating concerns regarding the health, safety and wellbeing of our customers and ensuring care delivery is in line with local policy and company values.

Overseeing the day to day running of the branch in the absence of the Registered Manager.

On call duties

On occasion, you may be required to assist with personal care (washing, bathing, oral care), encouraging adequate nutrition and hydration through meal preparation, assisting our customers to maintain clean and tidy home environments through fulfilling household chores and laundry, ensuring dignity is maintained through assisting with toileting, medication administration, emotional support, promoting safety and ensuring excellent communication.

**Requirements**:

- Previous Care Co-ordinator/Care/Team Leader Experience
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Good English verbal and written skills
- UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Ability to work unsupervised

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Carers and Care Co-ordinators to progress within their careers.

Full specialist training will be provided to ensure competence in service delivery.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
