Accounts Assistant

Leading Edge offers complete signage and display graphics services which cover the whole of the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts Department. Our people are core to our business and we work hard to ensure a positive company culture to our 70 employees.
**Duties**:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment to suppliers
- Process sales invoicing and credit control duties
- Assist with financial reporting, analysis and forecasting
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Provide support in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with employee expense reimbursements
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
**Experience**:
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- AAT Level 3 Qualification or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
