Pet Claims Handler

The role includes processing pet insurance claims primarily for veterinary treatment fees.
Checking invoices and medical records and making decisions in line with the policy terms & conditions.
**What will you be doing?**
- Processing new and continuing claims and dealing with all correspondence
- Answering all calls promptly in a polite and happy way
- Helping customers, resolving queries where possible or escalating to the manager
- Handling customer complaints and resolving where possible prior to escalation
- Learning and understanding the Pinnacle Pet Insurance products
- Promoting a positive image of Pinnacle Pet Group and client companies
- Maintaining excellent service standards
- Data entry
- Spotting possible risks or mistakes and sharing them with your Line Manager
**You should have**:
- Previous decision making experience
- Previous customer service experience
- Sound experience of working towards targets and service standards
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- A flexible and positive attitude
- Excellent telephone manner
- The ability to communicate effectively
- Proven letter writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
