**Cleaners/Porters (Full Training Provided)**
**Immediate Starts**

As a Multi Skilled Operative you will need to perform Domestic, Housekeeping and Portering duties where and when required to support demand and flow. This is a permanent role and immediate starts are available - Everyone will go through a Basic DBS check, Porterswill require an enhanced DBS.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for delivery of housekeeping, cleaning, or ‘portering’ to an agreed standard within agreed clinical areas when required.
- Complying with policies on Health & Safety, COSHH, food safety act and other statutory legislation.
- Report to Team Leaders any maintenance issues or equipment faults/defects within own area.
- To ensure all work areas are kept clean, tidy and stocked where necessary.
- Clean all work areas/equipment during and after use and remove all waste to the appropriate area.
- Movement/distribution of clean linen supplies and other material as and when requested.
- Use machinery as shown and taught, ensuring that the equipment is used safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, legal requirements and local procedures.
- Develop good lines of communications and relationships at all levels within your team and with other colleagues and customers.
- Ensure all security procedures are adhered to at all times
- Advise patients on the facilities provision within the work area
- Perform any reasonable and practical instructions as requested by the team leader/ manager, appropriate to the needs of the hospital.

**Days and Hours**
There will be a number of permanent and fixed shifts and overtime available at weekends.
Shifts will operate on a 24/7 basis, working between 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00 (Nights) but you can select your preference.
