We urgently require 1 additional Van Driver to start work on Wednesday 17 May 2023, for our busy manufacturing client based in Prenton, Birkenhead.

Each position is offered on a contract basis and on completion of an initial 12 weeks training period, permanent employment is guaranteed.

The working hours will vary depending on each run which will be allocated the day before, but it is anticipated that each driver will average 10 hours each day. Please note that some of the runs do involve early morning starts

Our client offers a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours each week and a basic weekly wage of £438.80. However, the beauty of this job is the availability of overtime which is also guaranteed and which is payable at £16.45 per hour after 40 hours and £21.94 p/h after 50 hours. On average most drivers gross circa £603.40 per week for working 50 hours.

With household bills increasing at an alarming rate, this role will allow you financial stability and the opportunity to increase your household income on a weekly basis, as overtime is constantly available.

Additional benefits after a 12 weeks qualifying period include an incremental pay rise, 25 days of paid holidays + additional paid bank holidays, payment rebate, full uniform and boots provided, pension and death in service scheme, annual attendance bonus and company save as you earn scheme.

**All applicants must have a full driving license that is reasonably clean, along with delivery driving experience.**

A reasonable level of fitness is also required, as each delivery will be unloaded by hand and some heavy lifting is required.
