You must be ambitious & enthusiastic; retail experience is ideal but not essential as full training will be given.

Outlined below are some of your key result areas to deliver on, and together with your experience and passion we think we will have a great team.

After successful completion of the required training, the basic rate increases to £10.70 per hour with a 50p per hour attendance bonus to give a combined rate of £11.20 per hour.

Key Role Responsibilities include:

- Driving the Company van to transfer stock around the Business and collect paperwork.
- Making face to face customer deliveries to customer's home addresses.
- If / when qualified, taking in deliveries using FLT.
- Occassional maintenance work across the Business as required.

In additon, there may be times where you are required to work in one of the stores with the following responsiblities:

- Greeting and approaching customers in a friendly manner offering advice on their pruchases as required.
- Checking off deliveries from suppliers, booking these onto the system and putting the Stock away on the shop floor
- Using EPOS system for payment and stock checks
- Pricing and merchandising stock
- Offloading deliveries, involves lifting
- You must be numerate, literate and have a good level of PC Skills to complete this role

You will average 16 hours per week which can vary up or down, this will include regular weekend working, and flexibility is essential. During peak times (April - August) we expect the role to increase to 24 hours per week as dictated by the needs of the Business.
