Working in a SEN school means that you have a caring and nurturing personality and have a love for working with children.

**About the role**:

- 1:1 support with children from age 5-19.
- Provide calming and nurturing support for some of the most vulnerable students with EHCP's.
- Working with small groups of children providing intervention support.
- Working with children with a range of complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members.

**About the school**:
The school has a wide range of learning needs as well as communication difficulties including Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and associated behavioural and emotional difficulties

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Autism Support - Leeds you will:

- A passion for working with children with a range of complex needs and learning disabilities.
- A passion for education and improving attainment for children with SEN.
- Provide a high standard of support for children with autism and SEN.
- The patience and care that is needed to support children with SEN.
- Can demonstrate confidence and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- Five days experience working with children or young people.
