Sub-Contractor / Projects Co-ordinator
**Job Overview**:

- Reporting to our Deputy Account Manager, the incumbent of this post will need to understand the needs and demands of the Project and provide appropriate and timely advise to ensure HSE targets and objectives are achieved.
- To supervise and deliver small projects.
- Training the team as required.
- Checking paperwork and service standards completed by the team.
- Take responsibility for your own training needs and bring them to the attention of the Engineering Manager.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, specific company requirements approved by the Health & Safety Executive and the latest regulations and codes of good practice.

**Main Duties**:

- Ensure implementation and management, within the Project, of all the QSHE policies, processes, and systems.
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental processes and systems deliver the needs of the Project.
- Develop positive relationship with the site team and sub-contractor(s) to ensure Health & Safety systems and policies are understood and delivered.
- Provide practical management and assistance in the achievement of Project objectives on site.
- Take responsibility for the overall Health & Safety management in liaison with the Deputy Account Manager.
- Attend / facilitate on site Health & Safety meetings and presentations.
- Reporting accident / incidents, in accordance with CDM Regulations 2015.
- Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
- Ensure compliance with the MITIE Maintenance Quality Management System as it applies to this position.
- Assist the management team in ensuring that all Statutory and Legislative requirements are achieved/adhered to for the sites.
- Ensure clients operational procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Obtain appropriate authorisation for access into restricted areas from the client's representative as and when required.
- Ensure compliance with MITIE and Client confidentiality policies.
- To provide technical support to the Deputy Account Manager and site supervisors.

- Previous supervisory experience needed in an FM background.
- Ideally served a recognised trade training scheme.
- Essential people management skills/experience managing a small team.
- Qualified in IOSH managering safely and ideally in NEBOSH and SMSTS.
- Customer care/relationship building skills.
- Able to work as a member of a team.
- Able to work without direct supervision.
- Able to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company.
