Equans is looking for an Apprentice Plumber. You will work alongside a site project team, working on our NIHE contract. The successful candidate will complete an intermediate Apprenticeship working towards the standard of the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3.

The Apprentice will be based in the Retford, Worksop and Tuxford areas and may be required to travel by their own means. As a responsible employer, EQUANS expect all staff to implement and adhere to the companys Safety, Health Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £13,.84 per annum and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

Assist and carry out project defined plumbing work to a high standard as directed by the Site Manager

Achieve all units laid down by the National Vocational Qualification to achieve a standard in plumbing works acceptable to the company

Work in accordance with any training and instructions given and bring to the attention of the employer any shortcomings and defects in the management systems and protective measures

This role does involve lifting, bending, kneeling and use of tools and machinery

Material co-ordination

Ensure accurate / timely completion of any relevant site-based documentation

Adhere to Company quality standards to include:

Compliance with specification / Compliance with materials and workmanship Attend all relevant training courses including all SHEQ courses arranged by the employer including Toolbox Talks Making repairs and restoring damaged parts Maintain and care for all company tools Wear appropriate clothing and PPE specific to tasks Ensure all areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the working day Any other reasonable management request
