- Be an effective part of the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain patients' privacy and dignity at all times
- Work and duties will be set, directly managed and indirectly supervised by a Registered Nurse.
- Continue to develop and maintain competencies
- Safe guarding vulnerable adults reporting any problems to the specialist nurses.
- Support patients and relative adjusting to dialysisng at home.
- Adhere to infection control protocols.
- Comply with annual updates
- Adhere to Trust policies and procerdures.
- Ensure extended scope training is completed pertinent to the role.

Since 2016 the UK Renal Registry and Kidney Care UK have undertaken yearly patient satisfaction surveys asking renal patients a range of questions about their care. The Patient Reported Experiences (PREM) survey results haver shown that for the last four years North Cumbria Trust are within the top 3 out of 71 renal centres for overall patient experience. Within the 2019 results we were joint first.

The home dialysis community is growing rapidly. If you enjoy working in a busy and ever evolving environment please contact Diane Sanders on 07818090537 for an informal talk.
