Absolute taste is part of The Menu Partners, a diverse food business supplying hotels, pubs and restaurants up and down the UK with whole, prepared or cooked food. Within our group of businesses, we also have Absolute Taste, a leading event catering company, Absolute Taste Inflight our Private Jet catering business along with two farm shops, a pub and a variety of fixed sites and our stadium group F3.

**Role Summary**:

- Develop, lead and maintain high performing travel teams (Eurostar & Private Aviation)
- P&L responsibility for Travel
- Ensure that all compliance is fully achieved consistently
- Be a main point of contact for all travel accounts

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage the operational budget ensuring that key cost control areas are kept in line
- Support the Senior Management Team in delivery of all operational aspects of company strategy
- Resolve issues effectively in a functional and cohesive way, seeing real problems.
- Confirm that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across teams and enhance effective communication throughout the Inflight business
- Use operational budgets effectively to promote profitability and ensure the company has all the resources required to meet its objectives within agreed financial parameters
- Oversee management of the on-site facility, including on-going maintenance and improvement works, materials, packaging and finished product
- Participate in personnel development at all levels through talent acquisition, performance management, providing education and communication opportunities for high performers
- Take the HR lead for new arrivals - Induction training
- Manage and implement the Health and Safety policy and risk assessments across the business.
- Be the point of contact for all related issues
- Attend symposiums on Operations, Transport and Health & Safety and pass on the most up to date best practices
- Develop and lead logistics Standards & Operations Planning (SOP) process
- Manage the Security Plan & Operations Planning (SOP) process
- Manage the Security Plan and become the CAA representative
- Ensure Company follows laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials
- Manage all inspection by outside parties including the EHOs, CAA and auditing bodies
- Improve performance efficiency: Lead, manage and hold the team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments in support of company objectives
- Drives to meet business objectives and goals set by superior related to Monthly Forecasting, P&L, quality assurance, staff turnover, H&S, FS and CAA compliance and all other specific goals set thereof.

**Key Deliverables**:

- Quality; perception by customer and managing SLAs as per the contract
- People & Culture: Satisfaction of the team, staff turnover, recruitment and team appraisal (formal and informal).
- EBITDA and Cashflow: achieved EBITDA compared to agreed budget
- Compliance: Scores in Food Safety (Local Authority and Food Alert), Security (CAA), Health and Safety - internal and external audits
- Innovation: develop SOP’s and critically review them regularly and contributions to brand reputation
- Ability to hold and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders

**Qualifications**

**Experience & Skills**:

- 3+ years leadership position in a fast-moving environment
- Project and change management experience
- Demonstrated experience with managing financials with budget responsibility required
- Strong track record of innovation and making changes to the operation to further improve the work environment and unit performance
- Superior flair for food
- Experience dealing with high-profile clients
- Must have strong and effective leadership and interpersonal skills (hands on mentality)
- Excellent and swift problem-solving skills, planning and scheduling capabilities managing multiple account requirements and analytical in approach
- Ability to effectively manage the operation while maintaining compliance in a heavy regulated environment e.g. CAA, HACCP
- Advanced Microsoft office tool skills (Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of quality auditing, inspection methods
- Detail orientated and excellent project management skill
- Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise responsibilities and multi-task.
- Understanding that this department is a 365 days operation and the challenges that come with this

**Technical Skills**:(Certification, Licenses and Registration)
- 5-year clean referencing for CAA
- DBS and counter-terrorism check required
- Driving licence preferred

**Language / Communication Skills**:

- English
