On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a Product Analyst-Fund for a 6-month based in London

Purpose of the Role:
To support an experienced team in collecting, storing and analysing data to help the organisation make informed decisions about product

As a Product Analyst-Fund you will be responsible for:

- The primary responsibility of the job holder is the collection of product data from multiple sources, including primary, secondary, internal and external sources to generate relevant data for analysis.
- The role also involves analysing and interpreting the collected data using the appropriate tools and software in order to create visualisations, including dashboards, flowcharts and graphs to relay concepts and trends through visuals to provide clarityto colleagues and other relevant stakeholders.
- The role involves compiling and maintaining excel spreadsheets, PowerBI models and Visual Basic for Applications to make data visible before analysis. So, experience with these tools is essential.
- It will be important to maintaining existing databases or data systems and to contribute to new process improvements and enhanced reporting initiatives.
- Attention to detail is a must as is a collaborative approach
- Organisational skills: They may be required to work under tight schedules, so it is important that they can effectively manage and prioritize multiple work assignments
- Quantitative skills: it is vital that applicants have knowledge of data analysis software to provide quantitative and qualitative data analysis
- Research skills: It is essential that applicants can undertake in-depth research, quantify the information and produce qualitative and quantitative reports. They must also be able to utilize data obtained to develop concise summaries targeted at decisionpoints
- Presentation skills: Applicants must also be capable of presenting their findings clearly via reports and oral presentations to senior colleagues
- Teamwork abilities: It is important that they can work effectively in a team-oriented environment, and independently in a fast-paced, and changing environment
- Computer skills: applicants must have advanced Excel skills with the ability to write macros and do pivot tables. They also need advanced knowledge to undertake querying, creation of tables, and formulas
- Communication skills: They also need verbal and written communication skills to converse and collaborate with all levels of employees
- Attention to detail: Errors in data applied for analysis can render conclusions or findings invalid; therefore, it is important that applicants have the ability to pay meticulous attention to detail, factoring every piece that might alter the validity ofdata.
