**Supply Planning Manager**

**About the role**

In your new role as a Supply Planning Manager, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of effective and manageable stock levels within the business for our domestic appliances and spare parts.

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager you’ll develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons, as part of a demand planning function.

You’ll review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. You’ll then coordinate cross-functional activities to reconcile significant variances and refine theforecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.

You’ll also provide timely and accurate information to the business at times of stock outs and forewarning to the business of stock availability issues.

Further elements of your role will include
- Maximising the availability of stock to customer base.
- Managing appropriate levels of cover across all categories, with a rolled up total business cover.
- Minimising exposure to SLOB’s (slow/obsolete lines)
- Utilising safety stock and stock allocation processes to drive specific availability across multiple sales channels.
- Reporting on and follow up on any issues affecting the effectiveness of the supply chain

Your deliverables will include provision of forecasts, spare stock management, stock availability, managing master materials and managing invoices.

**About you**

You’ll be an expert in Excel, SAP (ideally experience of working within MM Module) and APO.

Ideally you’ll have prior experience of working with a supply chain environment and competency in material master creation and maintenance within SAP - SCM/APO. You’ll be used to working with Demand Planning, Alert Monitor and Supply Planning Books

Decision making will be second nature and you’ll constantly use your own initiative to achieve goals and complete tasks.
