**HK Law** is a leading South Coast law firm with offices across Dorset and Somerset, with clients based locally, nationally and overseas.

We are seeking a full time, IT Support Assistant to provide firm wide support. This is an entry level role and will be office based at our Parkstone site. The role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone to break into the IT/tech field.

**The role**
This role is varied and fast-moving. You will be supporting the team in solving hardware and software queries from users across the firm via a ticketing system as well as undertaking ad hoc project work.

Responsibilities will include:

- Managing your workload, prioritising calls and updating users
- Undertaking on-boarding processes such as setting up new hires
- Installing and configuring appropriate software for users
- Providing user training when required
- Supporting users with access requests and managing permissions

**Who we are looking for**:
To succeed in this role, you must have a genuine interest in forging a career within IT and be willing to learn. You may be a career changer, a recent graduate or someone who has undertaken a level 2 or 3 Admin/IT Apprenticeship or similar and are now seeking the next step in your career.

Previous IT experience is not a pre-requisite for this role as supervision is close at hand and on-the-job training will be provided, however some previous experience of working in an office environment would be helpful. Additionally, you must have good trouble-shooting skills, the ability to communicate technical information in an easy-to-understand way and be able to remain composed when things get busy.

**Hours**: Full time, Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm with a 1-hour unpaid break (35-hour week)

**Annual Salary**:£18,000 (or NMW/ NLW based on age) up to £20,000 (dependent upon skill/knowledge/qualification level)
