Our client, a worldwide manufacturer of specialist construction products requires a Purchasing/Procurement Co-ordinator to work at its offices based in Bromborough, Wirral.

The key objectives for this role will be to ensure that all items necessary for the successful running of a busy manufacturing plant are purchased and delivered on time to ensure production and supply targets are achieved.

The main responsibilities will include placing of purchase orders of all incoming raw materials, all packaging and consumable items for production. Arranging transportation for incoming raw materials and liaising with suppliers to ensure best delivery times. Completing all necessary documentation including import duties, customs clearance and VAT etc, while entering all information onto the ERP system.

Our client offers a salary of £23,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on skills and previous experience. The working hours for this role will be 8 am-4 pm from Monday to Thursday and 8 am-1 pm each Friday (35 hours). Benefits also include 24 days holiday, plus statutory bank holidays.
