Job Description:
Sales Representative

As the Sales Representative, you will:

- Manage the accounts portfolio and develop loyal relationships with customers.
- Implement sales strategies and projects defined by the Sales Action Plan and ensure regular monitoring and corrective actions.
- Act as a main customer contact for sales, pricing, technical forecast, payment topics for the entrusted accounts according to the company policy.
- Implement sales contracts, communicate and confirm prices and payment conditions according to defined guidelines and deadlines.
- Develop new customers contracts and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Manage customer complaints according to company’s policies and guidelines.
- Collect market and competitors information and maintain a market review.
- Ensure active communication to the marketing team about technical trends of the Formulated Systems followed market segments and for the development of new products.
- Work in cross-functional projects and ensure that the information is transmitted internally to the relevant departments (R&T, Marketing, Sales team, Supply Chain and Product Managers)
- Generate and maintain a credible forecast for accounts and provide this information on a regular basis to line management
- Achieve sales targets fixed by the line management.
- Prepare the annual sales target and supporting actions.
- Work out quotations and follow up results.
- Control payments and collect debts (Cooperation with Credit Management).
- Audit sales results and expenses and report deviations.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Degree educated or comparable level of work experience.
- Fluent in English, in addition to Italian or Spanish. Fluency in English, Spanish and Italian would be advantageous.
- A solid knowledge of the commodity & specialty-related business environment.
- Ability to work with different types of market segments from fast moving changes to high margin more stable ones.
- Very good commercial negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team player attitude.
- IT literate (MS office, internal systems).
- Ability to work in a fast-moving industry.
- Entrepreneurial and excellent organisational skills are a must.
