We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly person who can multi-task in a busy work environment. Keeping overall control of our client data bases and client information. Onboarding new clients, liaising with HMRC, and ensuring tax information is collected in a timely manner.
You will be the first point of contact for our clients, both on the phone and face to face and the role entails:
- Onboarding clients, sending out proposals to new clients and gathering the information we need to sign them up for our services.
- Effectively requesting and recording receipt of client information.
- Sending out tax returns for signature.
- Ensuring consistency of data across all software platforms
- Keeping the team informed of ongoing updates to client information.
- Carrying out anti Money Laundering checks.
- Liaising with HMRC.
- Meeting and greeting clients at our reception desk.
- Answering phone calls and passing client queries to the relevant staff member
- Managing the diary.
- Dealing with post.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, confident, and self-motivated, with excellent customer service and organisational skills.
You will have:
- Experience of working in an admin role in a busy office environment.
Experience of working within the accountancy sector is an advantage.
- Real attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- The capacity to learn and explore practice specific software.
- The ability to think on your feet, plan your own workload and prioritise tasks with conflicting deadlines.

**We offer**:
- A friendly, supportive office environment.
- Salary - £19,000 to £23,000 (depending on experience)
- Holidays - 20 days plus bank holidays.

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

- English (required)
