Hours of work**:22.5 hours over 4 days**

Salary**:£11700 for 22.5 hours (£19,500 full time per annum)**

**Business Administrator Job Description**

**Duties to include but not limited to**:

- Support the delivery of comprehensive administration across the service, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed to a high standard, inclusive of minute taking on occasions.
- Assist in the development of the administration staff, through sharing

expertise and knowledge with others. Recognising own strengths and

areas of expertise and use these to advise and support others.
- Assist and be responsible for liaising with therapists within the team to

arrange client referrals and taking on of new cases
- Support with recruitment processes including safer recruitment

requirements e.g., DBS/reference requests, coordination of interview

schedules, induction, meeting, training, and mentoring systems for staff

across the service
- Contribute to and assist in the delivery of effective marketing and

promotion strategies for the service, including organisation of events, or

conferences and training, including social media input

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, inclusive of Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced qualifications, for example IT, databases, and software. NVQ Level 2/3 in Business Admin (Desirable) or willingness to work toward this
- Qualified and competent typist
- Customer Care or equivalent training/qualification i.e. Basic Counselling Skills (Desirable)

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Data protection, working with sensitive data and information sharing protocols.
- Excellent numeracy, literacy, I.T. and communication skills (including keyboard skills)
- Competent in relevant Microsoft packages.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety at work principles
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload to meet the demands of the service
- Good understanding of Confidentiality.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently to meet the demands of the service
- Be able to deal with listening to and taking down details about sometimes distressing situations relating to the safeguarding of children whilst remaining professional in approach
- Knowledge of services available to children and young people (Desirable)

Ability to assist in the production of statistical information

**Essential**:

- Working with databases and information systems
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to resolve issues proactively
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages
