Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including purchase order management, expediting, meticulous stock control, thorough goods inspection, and proactive collaboration with suppliers to ensure optimal delivery and quality.

Operating within a bustling environment, your contribution will be essential to the team's success. Your expertise in supplier liaison, delivery, quality coordination, monitoring and reporting of supplier performance will be integral to maintaining the high standards Farrat is renowned for.

**Experience, Qualities, and Qualifications to be a Farrat-astic employee**:

- Collaborate seamlessly with the warehousing team to facilitate the smooth receipt of purchased materials and services, while meticulously documenting all procurement transactions and inventory levels.
- Exercise vigilant oversight over stock levels to proactively mitigate waste and scrap. Keep our systems up to date by promptly entering waste and scrap reports.
- Cultivate and nurture strong partnerships with suppliers, while also assuming the role of a performance manager to ensure their consistent excellence.
- Take charge of the procurement of goods and services, serving as a vital support pillar for the business's operational needs.
- Engage in effective communication with management, production control, warehousing, quality, and other relevant teams to handle assignments and collaboratively tackle quality concerns.
- Forge a close working relationship with the Manufacturing, Planning, and Warehousing teams. This collaboration will enable you to grasp future material requirements and provide comprehensive reports accordingly.
- Unearth opportunities for cost savings through in-depth research within specific material categories. Present your findings to the Supply Chain Manager in the form of detailed supply proposals.
- Champion innovation by suggesting and implementing improvements to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

- Provide indispensable support to the Operations Team by furnishing them with timely and up-to-date information concerning potential supply disruptions.
- Skilfully manage and address general inquiries encompassing material procurement, suppliers, and transportation processes. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless flow of operations.
