**Job Role**:
**The successful applicant will be expected to**:

- Deliver desktop and site-based work concerning geo-environmental issues, and wider activities relating to environmental and human health risk assessment, through EIA or other assessment processes.
- Input into specification for ground investigation works and monitor site activities.
- Support high quality environmental consultancy projects including EIA, strategic studies, audits, surveys, research, and feasibility studies (in the UK and potentially overseas). This can be expected to include report writing, undertaking, and organising data collection, investigations and survey work, public and formal consultation, data and literature review, development of monitoring programmes, etc.
- Represent and promote Royal HaskoningDHV within the environmental marketplace through the preparation of literature, attending meetings, conferences, and seminars, and to support the wider environment offerings.
- Support consultation with stakeholders and regulators, and to remain up to date with policy and legislative development in a range of sectors.
- Work both independently and as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team to meet project demands, often to tight deadlines and budgets.
- Work on international projects which may involve short-term missions for surveys and consultation.

**This role might be right for you if you have**:

- A Minimum of 2 years’ experience of Geo-environmental consultancy or ground investigation contracting.
- Bachelor’s degree (essential) in Geology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
- Experience in logging of soils and rock.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- A proactive outlook, and the ability to work constructively on own initiative and within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel, including possible international destinations.
- UK Driving License
