Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Environmental Consultant to join our team.
About the Role:
- As a key member of the Permits & Licensing team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting a diverse array of projects, encompassing electrification, oil and gas initiatives, and potentially renewable energy ventures, from inception to decommissioning stages.
- You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other departments within the Environment Division and the broader consultancy team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary client liaison, overseeing day-to-day interactions and guiding consultants to ensure the timely and budget-compliant execution of these complex projects.
- Compose reports and engage with clients, working alongside senior consultants to facilitate project delivery.
- Contribute to business development, including identifying and securing key projects.
- Work with marine and engineering specialists in the delivery of multi-disciplinary scopes.
Requirements:
- Substantial demonstrated experience in oil and gas permitting, familiarity with offshore energy sectors, and a degree-level education in pertinent disciplines such as environmental science, chemistry, or engineering.
- Desirable attributes include a robust grasp of offshore legislation, prior engagement in legislative review and consultation processes, and participation in technical working groups.
