**About the role**

The role will be to co-ordinate all referrals to short-term supported accommodation and floating support services across Cheshire East via a single point of access. You will ensure all referrals are fully completed, liaising with referral agencies and clients to obtain additional information where required.

There will be a need to develop and maintain relationships with service providers to facilitate both an understanding of service provision and to reinforce contract compliance. You will assist the contract managers in various aspects of their work, including visiting providers premises to conduct inspections and to oversee support sessions.

A knowledge of housing will be useful to ensure an understanding of the competing demands on accommodation providers across all sectors and to manage waiting lists appropriately by prioritising cases for support.

**About you**

You will have:
- Computer literacy and IT skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and self-motivation
- Good organisational skills
- Good team working skills.
- Ability to think through various issues to establish appropriate means to resolve problems.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to write clear reports and present information in a clear format.
- Ability to provide basic training on computer systems.
