Facilities Supervisor

We now have an opportunity for a Facilities Supervisor to organise, plan and take control of Estates maintenance and repair works for an MRO and Airport business.

Responsibilities will include:

- Safely managing internal and external resources to deliver varied building, plant and equipment maintenance repair operations for an MRO and airport business.
- Discharging compliance with associated legislation; Asbestos, Legionella and Airport requirements.
- Working within the Health & Safety Regulations; Work at height, confined spaces, EAWR etc.
- Planning expenditure to an agreed budget working with the Facility manager
- Contributing and acting upon the autonomous and professional maintenance strategy to deliver continuous improvement throughout the business

Tasks involve:

- Managing and developing a team of Technicians, other staff and associated team activities
- Proposing and implementing improvement of the preventative maintenance programs and systems
- Improving equipment performance supporting the overall business drive for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Utilising the CMMS system to ensure accurate recording and reporting of works
- Providing daily/weekly progress reports on facility plant as required
- Supporting RCA of events to eliminate reoccurrences
- Controlling 3rd Parties supporting MRO and airport activities inc. review of RAMS, Certification and approvals
- Ensuring work completed satisfactorily and equipment returned in safe and functioning condition.
- Working knowledge of Safety regulations
- Experience of supervising teams and contractors
- Ambition to want to progress in the Marshall business within the Facilities/Estates function
- Technical understanding of hard and soft services associated with Building and Estates infrastructure
- Previous experience of supervising Estates teams and 3rd party support services
- Experience in delivering small continuous improvement projects
- Improving working practices
- Previous experience of using a CMMS
- Demonstrable Experience or certification with a building services environment.
- Certified in compliance matters; Asbestos, Legionella, Work at height, confined spaces etc.
- IOSH Managing safely (Min)
