This 012 month post will offer the post holder a broad experience in the presentation and management of a wide variety of autoimmune rheumatic conditions. It will provide an excellent opportunity to gain extensive experience in both general rheumatology and the sub-specialties we manage including autoimmune connective tissue diseases and vasculitides, inflammatory arthritis, auto-inflammatory syndromes, crystal arthritis and the spondyloarthropathies. During the course of the post you will have the opportunity to learn about the role of cytotoxic and biological therapies in the treatment of rheumatic diseases and the long-term monitoring of disease activity we undertake from experience on our DCU, ward and OPD clinics. You will become an integral part of our highly experienced multidisciplinary team. We will actively support your participation in clinical audit, clinical research or teaching depending on your personal aims and interest.
