**About the job**

The holder of this post is responsible for the cleaning and presentation of trains, ensuring all trains are clean and presented to the highest standard. Ensure cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with train presentation standards and any local instructions. You will use only approved equipment, chemicals and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment in accordance with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH).

**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- Clean and present trains for service in accordance with train presentation standards.
- Station Presentation maintaining unstaffed stations
- Removal of internal graffiti.
- Undertake cleaning of biological hazards.
- Complete paperwork as required, detailing, and signing for all work carried out.
- Dispose of collected wet waste in accordance with local instructions.
- Carry out CET duties as required.
- Advise duty Manager of any problems or defects identified.
- Work effectively as part of a team.

**Additional activities**:

- Additional tasks as specified by local manager.
- Ensure that changing and mess room facilities are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
- Principle accountabilities may differ from station to station and you will be required to sign the job description acknowledgement sheet.

**About the location**

Based at Poole but will cover the below stations.
- Branksome
- Dorchester South
- Hamworthy
- Holton Heath
- Moreton
- Upwey
- Wareham
- Weymouth
- Wool

**Working pattern**

Working an average of 30 hours per week

0730-1330 5 days a week with rolling days off across 7 days
