An exciting opportunity has become available for a sole charge nanny to help care for three children, two girls aged 7 and 11 and their brother aged 9. This professional and relaxed family live in a beautiful house, with a large garden, in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. The family are active, enjoying being outside and taking part in sports.

The working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday, from 14:00 to 19:00, plus an additional four hours on one evening for babysitting, to be mutually agreed each week. This totals 29 hours per week. There will also be opportunities for additional ad hoc hours during school holidays and potential overnight stays, to be mutually agreed, and paid as overtime.

You will need to be a careful and confident driver to help with school runs and activities. There is a duty car available for you to use.

Once the children are back from school, you will oversee any homework or reading and ensure they have everything they need for the following day - uniform, sports kits, etc.

During school holidays and whenever possible, the parents are eager for their children to learn and develop in a balanced manner, achieving their various developmental milestones. This will involve a combination of educational and stimulating indoor activities, such as reading stories, board games and puzzles, crafts, and baking, as well as plenty of outdoor play, trips to the park, and potential meet-ups with other children, ensuring their happiness and safety at all times.

In addition to general childcare responsibilities, this role includes nursery duties, such as helping to keep on top of the children’s laundry, organising their clothes and toys, maintaining tidiness in their bedrooms and playroom, and ensuring all rooms used are tidy by the end of the day. Although the family has a weekly cleaner, any additional tasks to keep the home running smoothly would be appreciated, such as emptying the dishwasher, vacuuming when necessary and running the occasional errand (picking up groceries, post office, dry cleaners, etc).

You will also be responsible for providing the children with healthy and nutritious meals each day, preferably homemade from scratch. If possible, batch cooking would be helpful, as it would provide the parents with some meals for the children to use during weekends.

This family also includes two friendly dogs, so a pet lover is essential.
