Science is a strong faculty with a very good track record of examination success and a good number of students opting for science at A-Level. However, we are open to new ideas that inspire and help our students to reach their potential, and to enjoy the subject as much as possible. You must be able to teach either Biology or Chemistry to A-Level.

We can boast wonderful students with a thirst for learning and a desire to embrace the wider opportunities available to them at school. We achieve exceptional academic results each year. This year we ranked 7th in The Times' best secondary and grammar schools in the southeast. Our staff are collaborative and support each other to be their best; it is difficult to say whether the best thing about working here is the students or the staff

The successful candidate will:

be a graduate with qualified teacher status;have held a middle leadership or leadership role and supported whole school improvement;combine resilience and determination with an ability to inspire, innovate and motivate colleagues and students;have knowledge of the powerful impact of data on informing and improving progress;have the ability to teach at a 'good' or better level consistently.
