Edrington also has a strategic partnership with No.3 London Dry Gin.

Position Summary
An exciting opportunity have arisen within The Macallan Estate. As a Macallan Host (based on a 12 month fixed term contract) you will ensure that all guests are given a world class luxury experience of The Macallan with exceptional customer service that exceeds all expectations of our guests, to inspire lifelong enthusiastic brand advocacy of The Macallan. You will host and support highly engaging, entertaining and educational experiences that communicate The Macallan brand to all guests. You will offer a world class service, creating the ultimate customer experience; an experience to be enjoyed by anyone who visits The Macallan Estate. Working 5 days from 7, Monday to Sunday.
Job Description
Reporting to the Guest Experience Manager, the Guest Experience Host is responsible for:

- Welcoming all guests with passionate and exceptional customer service, inspiring all guests to become enthusiastic ambassadors of The Macallan
- Passionately communicating The Macallan brand DNA and values to guests across The Macallan Estate and champion The Macallan, whisky, Speyside and Scotland
- Ensuring that The Macallan Estate is presented as a world class 5-star luxury destination, maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and organisation in both onstage and backstage areas with meticulous attention to detail
- Helping guests with any accessibility needs across The Macallan Estate, which could include driving our mobility transport
- Through training and learning, develop a thorough knowledge of The Macallan brand and deliver world class customer service within a luxury destination
- Hosting guests and delivering highly engaging, entertaining and educational experiences at The Macallan Distillery and across The Macallan Estate; including but not limited to Distillery, Estate, Boutique and Tasting Experiences
- Maximising every opportunity to exceed guest expectations
- Ensuring knowledge of stock is consistently up to date with regards to pricing, product origination, product function and storytelling
- Maintaining stock control & rotation following best practice and company guidelines
Skills and Experience
- You are naturally charismatic, positive and an upbeat people person who enjoys socialising with guests
- You have outstanding customer service knowledge and delivery, always exceeding expectations and going the extra mile to ensure a truly unforgettable experience for our guests
- You have engaging storytelling skills and are confident in delivering The Macallan experience to a variety of guests
- Ability to learn and retain information about The Macallan brand and the brand heritage
- Ideally, you’re currently established in a similar role, having had experience within a luxury sales or retail environment, however having a great attitude is essential
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with The Macallan Brand
- You have a keen eye for detail, you take an organised approach and willingness to exceed guest expectation
- You have a high level of resilience and the ability to deal with fast-paced environments is essential
- A drivers license is desirable however not essential
