Our Client, an international engineering company due to an extended period of growth are looking to recruit an organised, professional, and efficient Quality & Health and Safety Coordinator to be the first point of contact regarding health and safety, and any relevant training-related inquiries.

Working alongside and reporting to the HSSEQ Manager duties to include:

- Assist in creating and implementing safety plans while ensuring that they are being followed daily.
- Ensuring that data with regards to HSSEQ performance is effectively captured and analysed to enable improvement plans to be developed and implemented.
- Assisting the business with the implementation of the ISO standards and systems
- Conduct safety observation reports on a regular basis, depending on the length of the project.
- Attend safety walks and inspections before or during each project to analyse safety risks.
- Educate employees on safety standards and expectations as well as safe machinery operation.
- Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace.
- Investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident.
- Maintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents and related events
- Act as a liaison between management and external safety agencies, such as fire and insurance personnel.
- Coordinate audit schedule, the review of internal business processes, RAMS
- Coordinate and Implement CoSHH assessments.
- Assisting with the HSE, the Environment Agency, insurers, and other bodies in the event of a major incident or as required.
