We are looking for a Energy Procurement Administrator to join our successful Ignite Energy team.
Role and Responsibilities
Role
The energy procurement administrator is responsible for the supporting the energy procurement manager in tendering, placement and management of utility contracts for customers.
**Responsibilities**:
The deliverables for this role are:
- Working with the Energy Procurement Manager, ensuring all customer meters and sites are kept in a suitable contract
- Collating data from various sources to produce tender documents for flexible and fixed electricity and gas, and water contracts:
- Supporting in Analysing responses
- Producing reporting and recommendations for clients
- Supporting presentation of recommendations
- Providing administration support to the team around forecasting and analysis of non-commodity costs
- Keeping up to date with market drivers and supporting the account management team with commentary and customer dialogue.
- Read and comply with the company Health & Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health & Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of energy markets and contracts
- Background in analysis or working with data
- Have excellent communication skills for dealing with customers, contractors, other team members and other team members.
- Be self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel and computer literate
- Attention to detail
- Have a strong mathematical and analytical skillset for reporting.
