Welfare Officer

The Welfare Officer will be based at hotels which the government will be using exclusively for Service Users. The Welfare Officer will be the point of contact between the hotel and the Service Users within the designated premises.
Essential Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with multiple external agencies
- Ability to multitask
- Deal with difficult situations and always maintain a professional approach
- Available to work for 5 days a week - 8.5 hour shifts
- Must be IT literate - word, excel, outlook etc
- Immediate Starts
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable Requirements:
- Current Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate
- Previous experience in a customer facing MANAGEMENT role
**Mandatory Training Requirements for new starters**:
Completion of company-provided training modules.
Training Modules Include:
- Modern Slavery Awareness
- Safeguarding Children Level 2
- Safeguarding Adults Level 2
- Basic First Aid at Work
- Data Protection/GDPR Compliance
- Ethnic Diversity & Cultural Awareness
- Fire Safety and Awareness
- Health and Safety Training
Full training and induction provided.
**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
