An exciting opportunity has arisen within our small but dynamic Admissions, Liaison & Events team. Ashton Sixth Form College seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and confident School Liaison & Events Officer to help deliver a programme of school liaison and outreach activity and contribute to the planning and delivery of a range of college events.

You will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of all outreach activity with schools. This will include you organising and delivering effective and inspiring presentations to school pupils, parents and other influencers as required. You will represent the college at workshops and taster sessions and appear at careers fairs in schools.

You will also play an important role in the organisation and delivery of key college events such as open events, parent conference and welcome evenings, guidance meetings, XL Academy conferences, curriculum events and support the college’s wider student admissions activity.

A flexible approach to your work is required as this role requires you to work outside normal working hours including evenings and some Saturdays to attend events in schools and in college. You will be able to adjust your working hours to allow you to fulfil the role.
- Developing our staff is important to us and we support and offer training and professional development opportunities. This postholder would have the opportunity to complete a CEIAG _
- (Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance)_
- qualification in this role if interested to support their work in schools._
