Are you an amazing HR leader with a skill for coaching and bringing out the best in people? Well, you're exactly who we're looking for to join our talented college leadership team as the Head of People at Exeter College.

In this role you will be the driving force behind our People team, leading on all activity within the team to ensure the delivery of an outstanding, customer focussed HR and Recruitment service. But here's the best part - we want you to infuse your magic into coaching and developing our fantastic team.

**What's on Your To-Do List**

Coach: Inspire, motivate and coach our People team to be the absolute best version of themselves and deliver a high-quality, pragmatic and solution focussed service to the college.

Add value: Drive improvements in our processes and systems in order to continue to improve our efficiency and enhance our employee experience and employer brand.

Service delivery: Oversee the timely and efficient delivery of all people processes and functions ensuring compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding and safer recruitment requirements.

Team: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, growth, and operational excellence.

Skills: Lead the development of line management skills through delivery of engaging training and coaching.

**About you**

Delivering exceptional customer service is a critical aspect of our People function. To accomplish this, we are looking to appoint an experienced, confident HR professional with outstanding communication skills, decisiveness and the ability to work at pace and to deadlines. Leadership experience, coupled with strong coaching and influencing abilities is crucial. Creative problem-solving, impeccable organisational skills, and the capacity to manage a large, diverse workload are also key attributes.
