Senior Video Producer

**Location**: Paddington
**Contract Type**: Full time, Permanent
**The Vacancy**
Reporting into the Head of Video, you will oversee the work of the Video Producers on the desk and edit and film informative, exciting video for our customers.
What you’ll be doing
**As a Senior Video Producer your main responsibilities will be**:

- Editing footage into compelling video packages using a variety of tools including graphics and images
- Filming to a high professional standard
- Overseeing work of the Video Producers including quality control, grammatical and factual accuracy
- Alongside other senior staff members approve and send out rough cuts and edited packages to customers
- Responding to external customer queries as soon as possible
- Creating newsletter alerts for customers
- Generating ideas for compelling video exclusives
- Training other staff members on video equipment and editing techniques
- Working with Video Production Assistants to ensure video department equipment is well maintained and in good working order
**Who you’ll be**

- Proven ability creating content for an online video audience
- Ability to edit quickly and to a high standard
- Proven filming skills
- Thorough knowledge of current events, particularly in news, sport and entertainment
- Good knowledge of social media, UGC and understanding of copyright
- Strong grammatical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
