**Hate Crime Officer (PC)**

**Location: South Worcestershire**

An exciting opportunity has arisen to fill a full time permanent vacancy of Hate Crime Officer (Constable) at South Worcestershire within the Problem Solving Hub. This is an area of police work involving increased scrutiny and is an excellent development post for aspiring Sergeants.
- They will have the ability to determine the concerns and priorities of diverse communities in relation to safety, social inclusion and the prevention and reduction of crime and anti-social behaviour and have evidenced strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience of involvement in public meetings, public speaking or presentations. In addition they will have the ability to build a good appropriate rapport with people with diverse backgrounds to gain their trust and confidence.

The position will be mainly Monday to Friday with a combination of early and late shifts. It will require some flexibility to facilitate meetings with partners on occasions and is based at Worcester Police Station with the requirement to work across the whole of South Worcestershire LPA.
