Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events. This position requires excellent time management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors. **Duties**:

- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue planout, catering, entertainment, and decor
- Create event timelines and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Communicate with clients to understand their event requirements and provide regular updates on progress
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts and secure necessary services
- Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Oversee event setup, including arranging seating, audiovisual equipment, and signage
- Coordinate event logistics such as transportation, accommodations, and guest services
- Assist with fundraising efforts by coordinating sponsorship opportunities and managing donor relationships
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement

**Skills**:

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members
- Knowledge of the local area venues, hotels, restaurants) is a plus
- Experience in the hospitality industry or related field (e.g., hotel or restaurant) is preferred
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected challenges during events
- Proficiency in event management software or tools is desirable

Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
