Payroll Administrator

We are looking to recruit an experienced payroll administrator to join our payroll team. This role will involve processing payrolls for our member and non-member clients, ensuring compliance with PAYE and pension regulations, supporting our clients with payroll related enquires and salary and holiday calculations, as well as maintaining confidential and accurate payroll records. We are looking for someone who:
has minimum 3 years’ experience processing PAYE payroll.
has knowledge of auto-enrolment workplace Pensions.
has a meticulous attention to detail
is reliable and dedicated
has strong maths skills
has strong written and verbal communication skills
has strong organisational skills
Advantageous but not essential, is someone who:
is competent in the use of SAGE Payroll.
is familiar with processing part-year / term-time only payrolls.
has a recognised payroll qualification.
Ideally this will be for around 30 hours per week but we are open to discussing flexibility to fit around your availability and the needs of the organisation. There may be opportunity to work some hours from home once an initial induction period is complete. There will be a requirement to work additional hours during the financial year-end reporting period in March and April and at other busy times of the year such as pre-Christmas and during the summer months. The FTE for this role is between £23,000 and £25,000 depending on experience.
