Culture Recruitment are pleased to be working with one of the leading sports organisations who are currently recruiting for an Event assistant to join their team.

**The Role**:

- Support the Regional Manager and event Director by delivering all event in line with the company's standards, company policy.
- Conduct planning meetings and venue inspections for each event
- Record and distribute meeting minutes and reports, ensuring all events are adequately planned and resourced to meet the standards and expectations of Members, host venues, sponsors/partners
- Prepare local rules and all relevant event paperwork/organise administration and delivery.
- Collate and post results, conduct prize giving/presentations
- Work with the Regional Manager to deliver all press & PR as agreed for the events
- Co-ordinate event support equipment
- Deploy the required event staff and ensure Customer Service standards are met, and health and safety and driving for work legislation and guidelines are adhered to (including the completion of risk assessments)
- Operate and maintain event management software and ensure the accuracy of administrative and public facing information regarding event
- Ensure standard operating procedures are followed for all event activity
- Communicate with Members, sponsors, as appropriate
- Play an active role in the achievement of Regional KPIs

**Role Requirements: Education/Qualifications/Key Competences/Personal Profile**:

- Fluency using Microsoft Office.
- Excellent administration, planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- First aid qualification (desirable)
- Flexibility to spend periods of time away from home is essential for the role
